§ 17-2. Mayor to execute assurances of compliance with title VI.

The mayor of the city is hereby authorized to execute such assurances of compliance with the provisions of title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and of any requirements imposed by or pursuant to the Regulations of the Department of Housing and Urban Development as specified in section 17-1, and such assurances shall be on such conditions and forms as may be specified by the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
